Welcome to the Ethics Classroom...

At K-State, Mr. Hayen teaches Business, Government, and Society (MANGT 596) a required course in the College of Business. This course especially focuses on business ethics and social performance as a professional in today’s competitive business environment.

Ethics Classroom purpose is to provide a broad range of information related to ethics and social responsibility across American society. Users of this website also will find useful information compiled over the years from respected and trusted websites.

Ethics Classroom has been divided into three distinct classrooms: Professional, University, and Personal. These classrooms allow each user to select information most relevant to their own respective interests.

Please take time to browse the many areas of this website and enjoy the unique features built into this site by CivicPlus. I would be delighted to hear from you.

“Moral certainty is always a sign of cultural inferiority.

The more uncivilized the man, the surer he is that he knows precisely what is right and what is wrong.

All human progress, even in morals,  has been the work of men who have doubted the current moral values, not of men who have whooped them up and tried to enforce them

The truly civilized man is always skeptical and tolerant, in this field as in all others. His culture is based on 'I am not too sure.' "
